Checklist for A Professional Call Center Resume

We Recruited a professional just like you for a dream position. Here's why we didn't call you . . .

Dear Reader:

We never advertise a specific position when we receive a search assignment from a company.

Instead, we make hundreds of phone calls nationally to identify outstanding candidates for our clients. If the search does not interest our contact, or they are not qualified for the current search we are conducting, they are placed in our contact file and treasured for future searches.

Since 1985, my firm and I have contacted and interviewed more than 15,000 professionals in Telesales and Call Centers.

Even Dreams Are Fulfilled

Our contacts remain contacts forever, and since we already know a great deal about them, they are our most important source of viable candidates. Although they are not looking for a new job, as sophisticated professionals they listen to options . . . when we call.

For instance, a Vice President with a company for 10 years told us, confidentially, he would consider only a President title in the Midwest, if it were an equity opportunity. He realized his dream when we received an exclusive search at a package of $200,000+ equity.

Another, an Inbound Call Center Director told us he would only consider a new position where he could surf all year around. It happened when we received an exclusive search assignment with an $8 Billion corporation to launch and manage a new customer service division located in coastal Florida.

My question is simple, but it has hounded me since 1985. Why isn't everyone registered with us? Why are you not registered with us?

Why Were You Not Called?

Although we conduct exhaustive searches on exclusive assignments for our clients nationally, we make no claim to perfection.

Haven't you read about a job in the trade papers that was filled, and wondered why you weren't contacted? Well, the next time you see such a job, ask the person who got it. Call him or her, and you might learn it was our search. We would like to run an ad every time we recruit a top executive. (It would be the best ad we could ever run, but our work is confidential, so we can't.)

Even if you are highly qualified for an extraordinary opportunity, you will be overlooked by our recruiters if we don't know you, or you are not in the directories or rosters we consult, your friends or peers forget to refer you, or you are not at your desk when our recruiter calls. But that never happens when you are registered. We will contact you at home! (That could be why we've been so successful since 1985).

Absolute Confidentiality

Your name or your experience is never revealed to a prospective employer without an interview and your prior authorization to proceed. Of course the companies pay all fees and expenses.

If you want to be alerted to opportunities you would be interested in, even your vocational fantasy, all we ask you to do is register with us and send us your resume. We will take it from there.

We Make You This Promise . . .

You will hear from us when we have an opportunity that meets your requirements. And, when we present you to a company, your chance of getting the opportunity you want will be 75% or better. (Chemistry will be the balance.)

Ask your peers about us. Then take the next step and register with us. You will be pleased you did.

And, we will be pleased to work with you.
